Family Budgeting, Services & Balance Aim: To support parents and caregivers in building confidence in family budgeting, accessing available support services and maintaining healthy daily routines that promote financial wellbeing, resilience and positive family balance during early parenthood. *Workshop sessions are delivered free of charge and are subject to funding availability and community need. BHC is currently awaiting the outcome of funding applications.* A free virtual workshop designed to help families manage the pressures of early parenthood and the rising cost of living through practical budgeting guidance, healthy routine planning and improved awareness of available community and support services. Delivered in line with a family wellbeing and early intervention approach, the session explores budgeting confidence, low-cost healthy lifestyle ideas, managing household routines, work-life balance, emotional wellbeing and where to access local and national support for families. The workshop aims to reduce financial stress, improve family resilience and support healthier, more balanced home environments for parents, caregivers and children. BHC provides free virtual workshops for parents and families across the UK, supporting the Healthy Child Programme (HCP) between the 6–8 week Health Visitor review and the 1-year developmental review. The project promotes healthy infant nutrition, postnatal wellbeing, infant development, physical activity, family budgeting and positive daily routines through accessible, evidence-based early years education delivered in line with NHS and NICE guidelines. BHC hopes parents, caregivers and professionals find the BHC platform helpful and supportive. Platform information and guidance are reviewed monthly by an NMC-registered professional to help ensure content remains safe, evidence-based and systematically up to date.
